Drum Pedals
There are two types of bass drum pedals; single and double bass drum pedals. Base on the name, you would obviously know when they are being used. Many popular drummers use double bass drum pedals to produce more impact to their sound. A drum pedal works like the hi-hat pedal wherein your foot will press the footplate to pull the belt and bring the beater toward the bass drumhead to produce the sound.Double bass drum pedals are more expensive than single bass drum pedals. Like for example, Pearl P120P Power Shifter Single Bass Drum Pedal with Power Plate costs around $60 while Pearl P122TW Power Shifter Double Bass Drum Pedal costs around $180.
Competing with Pear P122TW Double Bass Drum Pedal is Pacific Drums by DW DP402 Double Bass Drum Pedal and it only costs $100. It has adjustable spring tension, built-in spurs, double beaters and it is made of steel plates.
